Joe Roberson--baseball coach, 'heir Best: Win or Lose With the returning seniors and the promising underclass- men, the Fighting Warrior nine hoisted their bats to their shoulders, and took to the field at the sound of play ball. Then the crack of the bat, a sliding Warrior, and inspired fans became as much of Warrior baseball as clogged cleats, sweaty brows, and dusty uniforms were to all baseball. The diamondmen hustled, worked hard, and came out with booming batting averages and a successful season once again this year. Much credit is due the track- sters themselves, and certainly much of the credit should go to the coach.
