Q21 They must be in the upper third of their class. Q37 They must have done creative work in some phase of journalistic endeavor. Q45 They must be approved by the executive secretary of the Quill and Scroll. The purpose of the club is to encourage and reward individual achievement in journalism and allied fields. The Society takes an active part in raising standards in its field and in directing the course of high school journalism.
