Wa y Ea l JH: In the halls of Pontotoc High School this year students are seeing a new face, This is the face of Mr. Edd Connor, Super intendent of the Pontotoc Public Schools, Although he is a very busy man, acting as liaison between the school board and the citizens, the citizens and the teachers and pupils, and chief executive of the city schools has a great responsibility and duties in his job of charting a progressive educational course for our schools. Mr. Connor is always interested in our welfare and always has time to extend a friendly hand to faculty, students, and visitors alike. With Mr. Connor's guidance we are being led, not only in the ways of learning, but also in citizenship and prac- tical experience ---- all valuable parts of our education. He has helped us in our extracurricular activities and helps keep our school system operating smoothly and efficiently.

Board of Education Determines School Policy School Board members - Mr. A. A. Donaldson, Mr. I. D. Doty, Mr. R. M. McCord, Mr. David Naugher, Mr. Quitman Pound, and Mr. Edd Connor, Superintendent. . The board is one of the major parts of our torch of knowledge as is evident by the fine plant and equipment we have in the Pontotoc Public School System. The men chosen for the positions are distinguished leaders of our community, They work diligently to provide us with superiority in education. The board brings merit-to our school.
