Parade Launches Homecoming Festivities With anxious hearts all the students eagerly awaited Homecoming. When the big week finally arrived, every- one began slaving away at creating the most beautiful floats ever. Thursday night the cheerleaders sponsored a snake dance followed by a huge pep rally in the gym. After the pep rally the traditional bonfire was held, with students' spirits blazing to a peak. The big game Friday night was one to remember, with the indians fighting hard against Normal Community's Ironmen. Homecoming i968 was indisputably the best ever at PTHS. Innovations, such as the organized snake dance and use of the new football field, combined with the tradi- tional customs to make Homecoming week a memorable one. Xxx-s.
