It was with great pleasure I accepted the challenge of the additional responsibilities of the Twelfth Grade Class Principal As I work with members of the Class of 87 I get excited about what we are accomplishing Your enthusiasm and smcere desire to make your senior year special, convince me you will be ready for the challenges of the future. The many events of this year have made it unique and memorable. From Homecoming Week to Commencement, this year has been an experience for the entire student body. Your Senior Committees worked hard and assisted myself and Mr. Mclntyre, Class of '87 Sponsor, to achieve the goals set forth. Without their determination and fortitude, the activities of your last year would have not been finalized and as successful. Thank you committee members, a job well done! Your senior year also consisted of new responsibilities for you. Remember all the deadlines for everything? The endless PINK letters? Senior-Announcements, A.C.T., S.A.T., Cap 8z Gown, College Applications, Senior Pictures, Class Rings, Prom, Scholarships, Senior Trip, Bowl-a-Thon, and many more. You accepted these responsibilities as many seniors have in the past. Remember the patience of Mr. Graham, 12th Grade Counselor: and Mrs. Laster, 12th Grade Secretary? With their help, these deadlines were met and you are on your way to Baldwin Pavilion. Could this be? Four years at Pontiac Central are really over? Congratulations! You have made it. The excellent faculty and staff of Pontiac Central has prepared you to accept the challenge of tomorrow. I thank you for sharing the challenges of the 1986-87 school year with me.
