Industrial Education Offers the Greatest Variety of Courses T4 The vocationaleindustrial department, headed by Joseph Atwell, prepares students tor a variety of jobs. For the collegeebound student, interested in architecture or electronics, courses in architec- tural drawing and electronics are offered. Occupations that can be entered directly after high school with vocational training in- clude tool and die making, sheet metal layouts, pattern making, welding, printing, and mechan- ics, as well as others. The department encourages boys to enter The Chrysler Trouble Shooting Contest held each spring. This contest challenges boys, who CYS proficient in auto mechanics, to service engines in an allotted time. I . 1

Notehand helps the college-bound student take notes more efficiently, an essential skill in the college classroom. lf one must work his way through college, a good business background enables him to obtain better employment. And it, for some reason, he is not able to continue in college, business is a field open to him because of his high school training.
