if We started to our first class when we saw some friends heading for the same class. We compared schedules and dis- covered that we had many classes to- gether. We stood in the halls talking about the summer until we heard the warning bell. Then everyone started to run for class, to begin a new semester. 1- -,I gi , Dy '. lf. f After a two-month vacation of swimming, traveling, and having a good time, we returned to school wondering whom would have for teachers and if friends would be in the same classes. We bought our bookcards and went to the gyms for our schedules. we OU' 1' I pf 'lf -.,,-',,,-My I' f ':-rg L, If 'Qt' 22 191, ,ef ' SSH Before the students were flnally enrolled, the office had many calls to change sched- ules. At last all were assigned and we began the daily routine. Our teachers were very helpful, and during the year we gained a vast amount of knowledge in many different subjects, thanks to the help they gave us. If

At lunchtime we discovered lines that seemed to go on endlessly. As we stood dazed, we realized that these lines were getting longer. The home-made pies at the other end made it all worthwhile. After we bought our lunch, we had an- other shock--the tables were filled, and we would have to eat oft the window sill. fr f ,ff ,ire e' l tems fffjrrgb 'ig' KLA., 75.11 49' 1 fl Z mmwfm The excitement of the Chiefs' competing with other schools, the dances and school parties, and many more moments and days will be remembered for a long time. After final exams and after the books are checked back into the bookstore, we can look forward to another summer vocation. Our routine was broken throughout the year by assemblies which provided us with many hours of enioyment. Some os- semblies were given by the school or- ganizations or by members of the student body. Some outsiders were called in to give us a larger variety of entertainment.
