Their first important task was to l t ' ' e ec responsible officers. Russel Grover be- came big chief and promptly chose chairmen to head various r Th g oups. e honor of heading the prom was given to Albert Simpkins and Barbara Billing- sley. They called the prom Starlit Garden. Then came the da yi caps and gowns had arrived. The baccalaureate service was held on January 2l at the Central Methodist Church. The seniors journeyed to Rotunda Inn for Class Day, which included the reading of the class will and prophecy. To complete the year, commencement was held in the boys' gymnasium on January 25. y when all the faces of the seniors gleamed with jo
