MRS HAZEL MILLER Bag Gfuqa, .feaae 7epee MISS MARY HELEN WILSON Miss Mary Helen Wilson retires this year atter having taught English at Pontiac High for 31 years Miss Wilson IS fond of traveling While on a six weeks trip to Europe In 1930 She especially enyoyed the scenic Alp Mountains but says her trip was highlighted by seeing the Passion Play at Oberammergau Having already visited the eastern and northwestern states Miss Wilson now plans to visit the southwestern states making Tuc san Arizona her first stop However she plans to return this summer to her farm home near Marlette Michigan Miss Wil son received her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Albion Colle Q6 MISS ZELLA WALKER For the past 12 years Mrs Hazel Miller who retires this June has been teaching Modern History at Pontiac l-ls l-i M Mll g rs A er was born in Clare Michigan and at tended Central Michigan Normal College at Mt Pleasant where she earned her Bachelor ot Science Degree She received her Master ot Education Degree at Wayne Uni vrsity ln her spare time Mrs Miller enjoys gardening She IS especially Interested In roses Upon retiring this year she plans to live rn Pontiac and keep house for Mr Miller She is looking forward to doing the thin s Q around the house that she has had little time for while teaching Miss Zella Walker who retired ID June 1950 attended the University of Machu an wh g ere she received her Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees Although she s a real Michigander she has traveled all over the United States Miss Walker likes to cook and read and the theater is another one ot her interests MISS CLARA MEYER Since retiring in June 1950 Miss Clara Meyer has enjoyed occasional trips to different parts of New York state and Michigan At present she is busy getting her affairs in order so she can travel more extensively Miss Meyer was born in Detroit but her home has been Mt Cl nn ernens for many years She received hr Bachlor of Arts Degree at th U e mversity of Michigan and also attnded Michigan State Normal College and did graduate work at Wayne University She came to Pontiac in 1920 MR WESLEY SIBLEY Since retiring in June 1950 Mr. Wesley Sibley has finished revising his textbook formerly known as Socio-Economic Problems of Importance and Interest to Workers The textb k . oo now called the Sociol ond Economic Problems of Demcrocy s Workers is being used in schools all over Michigan. Born in Wixom Michigan Mr. Sibley was graduated from Detroit Central Hi h Q School. Attending the University of Michigan he received his Bachelor of Science in Engineer- ing in 1909. He worked in the Pontiac School System for 20 years. This summer he plans to visit his daughter in California.
