It's Story Time! says Chuck Silverman, announcer, as Miss Hiller gives him the cue at exactly 1:45:03 p. m. and Pat Pipe watches the gain in the control-room. Do- lores Opie and Barbara Pyle await their cue at the mike while Norma Hoyt, Jane Vieg, Joann Vackaro, Bill Barnett and Bob Betts sit in the studio waiting for their turn. Ten years ago one of Pontiac High Schoolls most outstanding organizations was start- ed as a clubgv in 1940, the Pontiac High School Radio Wforkshop began broadcasting over station VVCAR. The X'Vorkshop is under the competent direction ol Miss Ola B. Hiller, who both writes and directs the programs. In Radio Wlorkshop students receive training in radio microphone technique and engineering technique. Yale at Pontiac High School feel that the Wforkshop and Miss Hiller are doing a great job. The Golden Anniversary Edition of the Quiver salutes the Pontiac High School Radio YVorkshop in its tenth year, and wishes it God-speed.
