MR. IOI-IN TI-IDRS, IR. Mr. Thors' interest in each high schoo student is reflected in every activity h directs, and his leadership has brough harmony and cooperation to the hig school. v One question that is invariably asked by Mr. Thors at the beginning of th year is, l'How many have the first hou vacant? When going through all thes hectic days he is calm, but firm. 1 Because ot Mr. Thors' own experi- ences, the veterans' problem is his prob! lem, and he is especially interested in their adjustment. He received both his Bachelor ot Art and Master ot Arts degrees from the Uni versity ot Michigan. In 1925 Mr. Thors a former instructor in Pontiac Higli School, Was made Assistant Principal: Again in the tall of l93O another chang Q took place in the administration and Mr. Frank DuFrain became Assistant Super intendent of Schools, Mr. Thors, Assist. ant Principal since 1925, was mad, Principal. Mr. Thors sponsors all the student act tivities, and it is through his help tha, we have carried such a full activity pro gram. Managing the numerous depart ments ot the school, checking curricuQ lum, and advising students, till most ol Mr. Thors' time, to say nothing of checkl ing schedules and senior credits. l The students ot Pontiac High Schoo all join in saying, Thanks, for a cult job well done. Mr. E. C. Russell Mr. E. C. Russell is the director of vocational and adult education in the Pontiac schools. Under the Adult Edu- cation Program he has charge of the evening school. Mr. Russell attended Western State College of Education and Wheaton Col- lege. For the past twenty-four years the Pontiac School system has had his cap- able and efficient services. Miss Ola B. Hiller Miss Ola B. Hiller is not only Assistant Principal, but helps in teaching Speech 5 and 6, and has charge of the Radio Workshop. ln addition to these duties she is faculty advisor for the Student Council. Every student can recognize Miss Hiller by her winning smile and pleasant personality. These two things make her a friend of all the many students who come in contact with her.
