Among the activities during the Sophomore year, the Sophomore April Fool dance, with Bill Cash, general chairman, will long be remembered. Bob Goebel, our class president, has led the class successfully through the last year of school, with the capable help of Jack Newman, vice-president, Robert Owen, secretary: and Hudson Hill, treasurer. The most colorful event of our Senior year was the Senior Prom, with Bill Cash acting as general chairman: Mary Coulthurst and Gary Stagg, chairmen of deco- rations, XY'illiam Powell, orchestra chairman, Max Hodge, tickets and publicity, Florence Burdette, programs and refreshments, Ruth Merz, invitations, Jack Roberts, entertainment, Keith Reily, cleanup and Tony Pietz, checking. The dance was held May Il, in the Girls' gym. Class day was held at a popular country club, at which the class had a memor- able time in outdoor sports, and dancing. For those who successfully passed their senior examinations, skip day was an added spice to our senior events. Baccalau- reate service and commencement concluded our career in Pontiac High School.
