Through the cooperation of the four administrative heads, our school is a leader in educational circles. The growth of the school system has been very marked. In 1 92 I the size of Pontiac High School was 989 students and fifty-one teachers. Since that time the number enrolled has increased until this year we have 2,118 enrolled, an increase of I,o98. The number of teachers has also increased but hardly in proportion with the increase in the student body. At present there are sixty-six teachers. The school built in the shape of an H, contains sixty-two completely furnished reci- tation rooms, three session rooms, a large auditorium, two gymnasiums, a swimming pool, and a fine library. Scholastically, Pontiac is rated very high. Our school offers a complete preparatory course for almost any held. The senior class wishes to thank these leaders for the personal touch they have given to us in the performance of their duties. U M R . J A M E s H .
