The students here at Pontiac North- ern are very accident prone. You wouldn 't believe how many students became injured due to car accidents, fights, falls on ice, and falls down the steps. From broken arms to broken legs, from bandages on the face to bandages on the foot - you name it, we got it. Crutches suddenly became the IN thing. Whatever the .case was, bandages and crutches were really hot items. 1. Hold that foot up! 2. What a pretty cast you have, Carlton. 3.The representatives of the bandaged of P.N.H. 4. Cliq ues At Northern, as well as any other school, there are such things as cliques'i A clique is simply a group of friends that stand out in a crowd because of their popularity of being together. Most of these groups were formed and named by the members themselves. All in all, these cliques are very noticeable. Here is just a sampling ot' the cliques that our school has to offer. 1 K . Spirit Week The meaning of Spirit Week is self explanatory. It is simply a week that is set aside to boost up school spirit for an athletic game of some sort. During Spir- it Week, everyone turns from their usual selves to spirited Huskies. Each day is designated as a particular dress-up gala to show off that Huskie pride. Such days as Button day, Mas- querade day, Sweatsuit day, and Hat day were included. Usually these weeks came right before Homecoming and all of the major Northern vers us Cen- tral games. 1. Inside out and backwards day. 2. T-shirt day, 3. Button day, 4. Dress-up day. 5. Sweatsuit day. 6, New wave day. NW
