I r is The Rainbow Toda Still Northern lost some of its main dream makers. People like Dr. Dauw, Mrs. Swanson, Mr. Wilcox, Mr. Buller, and Dr. Boyce, they had all fought their last battle for Northern before they retired. This just didn't seem right, but like the brave rainbow we faded tomorrow and found it held new people like Mr. Duffy and Dr. Taylor. All and all, it wasn't such a bad year. In fact it had some good points. Northern opened up its library second semester, picked up another counselor, and was on its way to recovery. They planned a donkey basketball game, yet the hurt of no real games was present. But school had its free days. God dumped Michigan with 20 inches of white, fluffy, snow over a period of six days. This made one of our five day week into an extra three day vacation. Looking back, everything had its dreams, this year included. Everything was on the move, either up or down, but everything was moving. The year will be remembered by Northern as the year of the rainbow . After every storm cloud, after every hard time, the sun came through, giving us a dream. Making us a Rainbow. Q :NNI e ,yyl ,s 04-,, A l ,S fe, 'eff'e f 'rrr ' f 'sss o Q it fa 94 '39 .
