This year, with the help of Mr. John Schmidt, the Freshmen class developed an excep- tionally good float. On the theme of 'Reaching for the Sky they made the Empire State building with King Kong on top with his hand reaching for the sky . Even though the Freshmen class didn 't win first place, they should feel proud that they had enough support ffrom Mr. Schmidt! to have been able to produce the excellent float that they did! 22
