Just as Martin Luther King Jr. had a dream tlzat one day our nation would join hands and walk together as brothers and sisters living in peace, so did those at N ortlzern have dreams. Sheila Brent had a desire to become Homecoming Queen of the 1975- 76 school term. After much campaigning and the writing of an essay, and voting by students. faculty, and others, Ms. Brent came out on top. Mrs. King and Ms. Battle worked so hard in trying to make homecoming ceremonies a little more unique than previous years. When it was all over they were glad, satisfed, and tired!

The school was Hnished prior to September of 1958. And in June of 1959 the first Senior class graduated from Northern. We Can, with great pride and respect, continue to N, xse America has greatly advanced in 200 years.
