Qi 954:51 if Pontiac Northern has changed quite a bit since 1958, Prior to this year many changes have occured. A second level has been added, a new gym fin honor of the late William C Mclfinneyj, and a few other changes. Northern started out as an idea approxfmdffly 20 or 21 years ago. It is now an actual building which opens its doors five days a week for the purpose of educating high school students, levels 9 thru 12. Independence of the American colonies from Great Britain remained a hopeless dream in the minds of many Americans until April 19, 1775, when the American Revolution first began. On July 4, 1 776, the Second Continental Congress adopted the Declaration oflndependence.
