It was only through your constant guidance and supervision that we have achieved so much this year. The organizing of a large high school such as Northern was a tremendous task which you have performed excellently. Coming into an unoompleted school, and end- ing the year with an efficient staff, a completed plant, and a co- operative attitude among students and faculty alike, illustrates your great powers of supervision. A good example of your guidance is our Student Council which has done so much to benefit our school and community in its short, but productive life. we sincerel Y appreciate the opportunity to have such a qualified person as our principal. You have not only rendered a great service to Northern High, but also to Pontiac in general, as a teacher in junior high and high school, and then as an elementary and junior high school principal. You have worked sincerely efficientl and , y, conscien- tiously to achieve your ultimate goal, the improvement of educa- tion in Pontiac. we congratulate you for reachin th g e extremely responsible position of principal of Northern High. Looking back on the steps you have taken to achieve it, we know that you will go on striving to make Northern High School a school we can be proud of, not only now, but in the future. Sincerely, item Humphrey STUDENT COUNCIL PRESIDENT '!5w.L.-,V ,aaa I, 1 y,y, ,V .1 U,
