This new and enTicing sporT will be carried over To The new Gables I-ligh School, where The GAA girls are plan- ning To have iT made one oT The sporTs having a ciTy-wide TournamenT. Physical EducaTion Tor girls, under The guidance oT Mrs. EThel STeele and Mrs. l-lelen SmiTh, became very popular This year. The deparTmenT sTrived To develop in iTs sTudenTs a sense oT Tair play and good sporTsmanship. ln class The girls were TaughT The TundamenTals oT drill work, along wiTh speedball, soccer, baskeTball, volley- ball, soTTball, Tield hockey, modern dancing, exercises, badminTon, square dancing and Tumbling. These girls seem To have Trouble bullying during a rugged game oT hockey. o ---NND.. Girls doing one OT Their rouTines dur- ing a nighT oT Modern Dancing. Ponce added a new acTiviTy To iTs agenda This year wiTh The MODERN DANCE CLUB.
