THE DAKOTA COUNTY STAR Thursday, October I4, 1954 Indians Make Dramatic Return As Grid Power If there was any doubt in anybody's mind about the return oil ie Ponca Indians as a football power, it was emphatically re-- ioved and stomped into the ground . . . just as the Indians round the Walthill Bluejays into terra firma Friday night. Aided by the explosive runs of one James Dunn, the Indians, hrashed the Jays 19 to 0 to spoil the Walthill homecoming cele-' ration. The victory was a wonderful tonic for Indian football fans rho, in the 1951, '52 and '53 seasons, watched in despair as their ndian hopefuls were rocked with repeated monotony.
