I C O When one thinks of student life, he usually brings to mind the students, football, and studies. Few people stop to consider the persons who have the job of running the school and its many facets of learning and activity. Po-Hi has a vast number of individuals, seventy-two, who fill the varied jobs that are created by the young citizenry of Ponca City. In the hands of our superintendent, principal, and seven Board of Education members lies the decision of all our school policies. To help carry out the scholastic part of these school policies. fifty-eight teach- ers are engaged to instruct approxi- mately 1300 students for 1740 hours per week or 348 class periods per day in subjects which range from physics to drivers' education. Besides the hours of instruction, these educators also act as student counselors, club sponsors for all school clubs and advisors for fifty homerooms. To manage all school correspondence, financial business, and student records, the administration employs five secre- taries at Po-Hi for twelve months a year. Since no schoolis physical plant is any better than the men who maintain it, the seven custodians and one school matron really work twenty-four hours a day to keep Po-Hi the Pride of Ponca City.
