With this small group of twelve the idx ' .' Student Council initiated its first activities, which, step by step, have led to our modern - -wtf 5 organization of between thirty-five and forty members. . Not in size, but in progress and usefulness have come the most outstanding achieve- ::r::f.:::1 . . . . . . . ments of our Council, for in its wake it has left such worthy projects as the publishing of ' the Kat Key, the establishment of the book store, the adoption of a school emblem, the ' practice of electing Best Citizens, and the installation of our annual Leap Week and Pon- 1' .Al 1 Q Dram Panic. It has purchased a motion picture projector, made a movie on high school i EEEEEEEF' life, given weekly radio broadcasts over Station WBBZ, bought the senior caps and if gowns, and put up the flag pole on the campus and the student creed display in the main 7'- ff I hall.
