To a greater degree than ever before, Ponca City students realized that the American Way of Life had definite obligations which they must meet if they were to continue to enjoy its privileges. In recognition of these obligations they responded generously, to everv call for assistmce and proved in every way possible that they could be counted on to do their shafe. s WWW 6 THE ISSUANCE of this hook marhxs hath the close of the school year and the close of an era in which peace time activities have heen paramount. Future yearhooles will reflect the effects of war upon our school program. Therefore, the recordings herein made will live long in the memory of our graduates. As you scan these pages in the future, your heart-heat will quicken and your emotions will he deeply stirred as you recall the valued friendships, the close associa- tions, and the worthy achievements of this year. Persons whose pictures appear in this hook will make extreme sacri fices and achieve heroic deeds in the service of our country. As you leave the halls of this building to go forth and do your hit you leave with us a feeling that you have heefz imbued with the teachings, the ideals, and the traditions of the Ponca City High School. Now we say goodbye, with the satisfaction of knowing that the splendid reputation of Ponca City High School will hecome even more excellent when your future achievements are written in the archives of our memories. His well-chosen, all-star cast again lived up to former expectations in this side-splitting comedy of a fiery-tempered Irish miss and her dog with complications furnished by her social-climbing English relatives. 00 Perhaps the name of this production should have been I'm Looking Up To You. However, wee Sibyl Riesen aptly portrays the part with her six-foot two leading man, Frank Nonnamaker. 1.1 Below we have the entire cast reading fronTleft to right they are: Pauletta Boyette, properties: Don Crawford Hazel Spore, Robert Melberg.
