LIBRARY STAFF The members of the library stall' are pioneers in a true sense. With the help of Miss MacCoon, it is their responsibility to foresee the interests of the student hody, and to lead them along the right path toward a keener appre- ciation of their country and their fellow citizens. MONITORIAL STAFF It was the duty of the monitorial staff to govern conduct in the halls. Assisted and advised by Mr. Mclilligott, they were of real service to the school. These students learned much concerning discipline, a very necessary factor in our democracy. .......i. Left to -right: Tilie U-,gtvn-grey, Marilyn fivinnfllj-. lflzlfrze Yaveri Cf. Ntliixc gtiiuiilyh pro- ol I 't WCW' .1 fn Ll mimi' The organization that truly represents the student body is the Student Council. Sponsored by Mrs. 'legge and Mr. Yott, this group tried to improve its activities and the school. Assembly programs and dances were given with the funds they earned by selling refresh- ments at games, from the magazine campaign, and from the sale of pennants and banners. They also donated money to the scholarship fund. Ten members attended the State Convention of Student Coun- cils at Princeton University to discuss the problems of councils with other high school representatives, A new tradition was established this year, The members were formally installed in assembly. They took the oath of oliice and the student body. in acknowledgement, pledged their cooperation. Bob De Remer should be congratulated on the splendid job he did as president of this active group. His guidance and interest in all the council's activities made this year a successful one. sniptxont, tc. -A A X .t - . .y-fx - I . vi N' ,MXN ' 'dmv NX ikuwl' During ffm' maqtlzirxt' txlrrifmiqii fluff mrm- byrs uni' 171133 tlwiftzug WUPXVJ ,7'U l WZ'- Xnm -.YA-,'1,-R ,L-Nut.
