Sl lllll Pl Y WHAT A LIFE The title of the senior play. XVhat A Life, certainly described the plot. The play was pre- sented December 3, under the direction of Mr. Yott. A light Henry Aldrich comedy describing the problems of a teen-age boy, the entire action took place in the principals oflice. W'e hrst met Henry when he had been sent to the office for causing a disturbance in study hall. While there he met a classmate, Barbara Pearson. Henry was soon after caught cheating on a test and suspend- ed for sixty days. Because of a series of circum- stances, he was also accused of stealing the best part of the school band. Mr. Nelson, assistant principal, suggested to Mrs. Aldrich that Henry attend trade school where he could take a course in art, for which he had a wonderful talent. Finally Miss Wheeler and Mr. Ferguson found that the real thief was George Bigelo, a rival of Henry's. Henry attended trade school and went to the dance with Barbara, and the curtain fell on a happy Henry Aldrich and a much relieved high school faculty. The play was a great success, many claiming it was the funniest they had seen in years. Every member of the cast worked hard at the daily afternoon rehearsals, and everyone gave an excel- lent performance. Members of the cast will always remember this experience, with the professional make-up, bright footlights, and applause of the audience. It was an unforgettable evening filled with excitement and will always be treasured. 5 -v1ELL,W Wu , SENIOR PLAY CAST Miss Shea, Secretary , , ,, Mr. Nelson, Assistant Principal Mr. Patterson ., .... ,, Henry Aldrich , Barbara Pearson Miss Pike , Bill ...,.,..,.
