Girl staters are Lela Wegman, Carol Burke, Mary Jo Thomas, and Genie Jennaro. Interesting assemblies add to a school day Assemblies were restricted the first semes- ter, mainly because of split sessions and the condition of the gym. The second semester assemblies were much improved. The entire school was together and separate assemblies were no longer necessary. For the first time in two years, Pompano became a united school, and spirit soared to a new level. ABOVE: At our first pep rally, students dis- play varied emotions. MIDDLE: Jr. Ex- changettes strive to get new members. BE- LOW: Seniors and Juniors become new NHS members in a private ceremony held in the auditorium. 24—ASSEMBLIES
