John Baskett Laverne Blackard Mathematics is necessary to modern man. Keeping ahead in this field, the mathematics department offers a wide range of courses, varying from Review Math to Calculus. Two new teachers have been added, bringing the total to sixteen. Math no longer stresses the importance of merely solving problems; understanding the theory involved is essential. Elmer Brewton William Cheshire Mr. Alex Sokol presents a highly complex problem. Rick Sproul is very confused over the solution to the problem. 28—MATHEMATICS
