Girls F Q athletics and the common bond of I l I Jesus Christ in their lives. Meetings were held weekly at members' homes, where the two were combined in order to bring about a greater faith, whether during the season or not. Some of the activities that these girls participated in this year were: The Mini Conference at the Air Force Academy, a retreat in Breckenridge in the fall, a benefit volleyball game in May, the Con- ference in Fort Collins in June, and the Annual Banquet. Boys Fellowship of Christian Athletes invites and reaches out to any young man that wishes to combine athletic interest with their I l I Christian faith. Together they were involv- ed in the State Mini-Conference at the Air Force Academy, Denver Area Banquet, The Night Of Champions, the C.U. Prayer Breakfast, March Of Dimes Walk-A-Thon, CRCO Jesse Owens Track Meet, 1982 National Conferences in Estes Park, Colorado, and St. Olaf College in Nothfield, Minnesota. Boys' FCA members this year were: Rich Anders, Greg Campbell, Rick DiSalIe, Jerry Felkoski, Dale Fletcher, J.W. Fox, Jeff Giardina, Tim Jenkins, and Ken Styskal. Foreign Exchange lt has been a great year for me. I've got lots of friends. l'Il come back and visit Pomona some time. And I like to thank all of my friends and teachers. See you again. Thank you for everything. Kikuno li, Japan It would be quite a memorable experience to live in another country. Pomona had a number of students that were from other countries, but just three of them were considered exchange students. Mrs. Smith, their sponsor, and their host families helped to make their year in the United States enjoyable. In addition, there were many students at Pomona that were good friends to the foreign guests, and made 1981-1982 a year they will never forget. Thanks for everyone and everything. It is a really impor- tant time Qperiodj in my life. Mitch Okamoto, Japan I had a really neat experience here at Pomona. I enjoyed going to a totally different school speaking a different language, and meeting different people all together at one time. This year at Pomona has become an important stage in my life.
