F.B.L.A. is a national organization that provides opportunities for students to gain experience in their areas of interest in the business world. Some of the past year's activities included a trip to the Governor's Mansion and Larimer Square at Christmas time. In January, 21 students attended the District F.B.L.A. Conference. 17 of them qualified to go to the state Conference, which was held in March. Cheryl Durning, Shelly Hirsh, and Jody Nelson placed, but all that attended had a good time. Also, in March, was the Employer Appreciation Luncheon for those participating in the Of- fice Occupations Program and their employers. Cheri Reich and Cindy Green were awarded the Toni Cominiello Memorial Award as the outstanding Office Occupations students of the year. The many members of F.B.L.A. were sponsored by Mrs. Murnan, Mrs. Hendrickson, and Ms. Stewart, who helped to make this year's group a great experience. .11 i 232
