Mr. Robert Talkin has been teaching in the Language Arts Department at Pomona for 8 years. He coaches basketball and has also coached the girls' tennis team. Mr. Talkin is married, and his hobbies outside of school in- clude eating regularly and sleeping well. When asked about his goals, Mr. Talkin replled that he has never played hockey, but he hit a homerun once. She Is Involved wlth the Show and Jazz Choir and is presently working towards a masters degree at UCD. Ms. Vandaveer enjoys skiing, backpacking, reading, traveling, and making stained glass windows. Mrs. Lisa VanDelNege has been teaching a variety of classes in the Economics Department for 716 years. She is a co-department ch and also sponsors the HERO Club. Mrs. VanDeWege is married and reading, crafts, and sewing. Ir. Earl Snyder has taught Latin and English at Pomona for the past 9 'ears. He is married, has 3 sons, and enjoys golf as a hobby. Outside of chool, Mr. Snyder is involved with fireworks displays. WW5 Mr. Don Storey has taught American History at Pomona for 4 years. He is -narried, has 2 sons, and enjoys traveling, camping, and photography. Mr. Storey works with the Arvada Hockey Association and Little League Baseball. He strives to be a good father and to help his children succeed in life. Mr. Stuart Weiss teaches Math and Language Arts in the PC Lab and has been at Pomona for 7 years. He enjoys veling and camping with his wife and 3 children. Mr. White's goal is to :ome independently wealthy by age 30. . . loops.j 331. 4 Mrs. Lauren Willis has taught Theatre and other Language Arts classes at Pomona for 4 years. She functions as Pomona's Drama coach and directs all of Pomona's plays. Mrs. Willis enjoys writing, music, sewing and crafts. When asked about her goals, Mrs. Willis expressed the desire to direct on a professional level and also to publish several works of fiction. Life is much better if one makes a commitment and sticks to itg make goals realistic, worthwhile and fun.
