Ir. Earl Snyder has taught Latin and English at Pomona for the past 9 'ears. He is married, has 3 sons, and enjoys golf as a hobby. Outside of chool, Mr. Snyder is involved with fireworks displays. His goals include vrltlng the great American novel and raising the great American family. 'What profit does a man have if he gains the whole world, but in so doing oses his eternal soul? xg. WW5 Mr. Don Storey has taught American History at Pomona for 4 years. He is -narried, has 2 sons, and enjoys traveling, camping, and photography. Mr. Storey works with the Arvada Hockey Association and Little League Baseball. He strives to be a good father and to help his children succeed in life. Use this school as a place to learn the skills you will need to survive ls adults. F Mr. Art Spano has taugh MDE and General Business at Pomona for 3 years. He is the DECA sponsor and enjoys golfing, fishing, and camping in his free time. Keep looking up. .Q Mrs. Susan Stewart has taught Business classes at Pomona for the past 8 years. I Mr. Don Schneider teaches Math and has been at Pomona for 8 years. He ls the Boys J.V. Basketball coach and enjoys a variety of sports in his free time. Outside of school Mr. Schneider enjoys singing with his 2 brothers. He is married and has 3 children. Try to make the best out of every situation. He is an advisor in the Upper Level Achievement Program and is Head of the Science Department. Mr. Shoemaker enjoys camping, finishing old funiture and spending time with his family. He is president of the Col- orado Biology Teachers Association. Base good values on those things you cherish most in life, and make the many decisions you have before you according to your values. Mrs. Dixie Sipe has taught Home Economics at Pomona for 9 years. She is involved in the F.H.A. and functions as a Department Head for the Home Economics Department. Mrs. Sipe is married and enjoys gardening, reading, dancing and sewing. Mr. Len Scrogan has been teaching Social Studies at Pomona for 5 He is a Student Council sponsor. Mr. Scrogan's hobbies include bass and acoustic guitar, war games and computer programming married and has 1 daughter. In the future, Mr. Scrogan would like to into school administration or diplomatic work. Give God a chance. Mr. Tlm Smiley teaches Physics and Chemistry and has been at for 6 years. Mr. Robert Talkin has been teaching in the Language Arts Department at Pomona for 8 years. He coaches basketball and has also coached the girls' tennis team. Mr. Talkin is married, and his hobbies outside of school in- clude eating regularly and sleeping well. When asked about his goals, Mr. Talkin replled that he has never played hockey, but he hit a homerun once. She Is Involved wlth the Show and Jazz Choir and is presently working towards a masters degree at UCD. Ms. Vandaveer enjoys skiing, backpacking, reading, traveling, and making stained glass windows. Mrs. VanDeWege is married and reading, crafts, and sewing.
