Organizations I43 Home Economics Related Occupations was a club directly related to the occupations class. This club offered students the opportunity for social, community, and leadership activities. Throughout the year there were district, state and national conventions open to the club member participation. Some activities included the salad bar and pre-theatre dinner before South Pacific, the school musical this year. Sponsor: Lisa VanDe Wege. I42 Organizations SQ.-JA., vw FHA Future Homemakers of America was a club for students interested in any area of home economics. Some of their projects included Gingerbread Houses and Cookie- Grams. The highlight of the year was the state convention in Colorado Springs. Those members that attended the FHA State Convention included: Susan Brown, Valerie Duncan, and Robin Fenstead, chaparoned by Mrs. Jacobsons.
