Thanks especliiay to the teachers and the counselors who helped me to get adjusted. I learned a lot because classes were not always easy. But one thing which was easy to do, was to make friends in classes or in sports!! Thank-you all. Dirk Bottcher: Germany Peter Gede. It was very easy to tit in at Pomona. To the teachers and students who helped make my stay in the USA enjoyable, I say Thank-you for this year! Franz Arnold: Cologne. Germany The experiences that I have had here have been wonderful. From the sad moments and happy moments I have learned new and good lessons. In spite of not having mastered the language. I have felt the love, affection and friendship that is characteristic of humanity. Maria Elena Teran: Viva Mexico! My stay has really been a positive experience. Everbody has been nice to me and I've mady a lot of new friends here. Pomona really has some quality teachers and it is possible to learn a lot. The spirit of Pomona must be one of the best in the state and Panthers have been helped a lot by crowds of fantastic supporters. Pomona you 're if I !!!! Its purpose is to promote world fellowship dedicated to service and international understanding through various projects, These projects are designed to encourage helpfulness to others, to build respect for the rights of others, and to promote goodwill toward all peoples. I42 Organizations SQ.-JA., vw FHA Future Homemakers of America was a club for students interested in any area of home economics. Some of their projects included Gingerbread Houses and Cookie- Grams. The highlight of the year was the state convention in Colorado Springs. Those members that attended the FHA State Convention included: Susan Brown, Valerie Duncan, and Robin Fenstead, chaparoned by Mrs. Jacobsons.
