PHS's Florence Nightingale, Miss Benita Schjaastad, carried an extra burden in addition to her regular duties during the year, as she saw us through a Hu epidemic, which afflicted many a devil! The hard-working MAINTENANCE STAFF at PHS strived endlessly to keep our school in good running con- dition. The coun- selors' pleasant attitudes and beneficial guidance helped to solve the students' problems quickly. For those who wished a place to study or just to gain a few minutes of quiet from the busy school pace the LIBRARY fitted the scholars ex- cellently. LIBRARY staff members are: SEATED-D. The busy members of the BOOKSTORE are: FRONT ROW- B. Stewart, R. Masillia, J. Haley, J. Fitch. BACK ROW-E. Bran- dis, J. Walker, P. Dony, S. Avants. Those working in the BOOKSTORE, headed by cheerful Mrs. Masillia, did wonderful jobs of supplying school items from pen points to poster paint to all the devils. They also handled the ordering of class rings. Most important of all, the ' bookstore was responsible for holding the purse strings of PHS clubs. The peppy crew in the SNACK BAR helped fill the cravings of the starving devils whether they wanted a campus bar, a tamale, or an apple. Serving hungry Devils at the SNACKBAR are: J. Bradley, D. Wood, E. Capron, B. Bennett, V. Vallejo, D. Ireland, M. Esparzo, B. Ranck, N. Pogue, N. Schmidt, J. Guest, O. Christiano, M. Har- rison, C. Swaim, C. Mead, J. Swaim, F.
