MY DEAR JUNIORS: I am at a loss what to write, for I do not think you third-year men are in any particular need of ei- oval. What you need most is to he left alone to find yourselves. In fact, you have ther advice, admonition, or appr been finding yourselves ever since you were freshmeng and you are to he congratulated that you have now concluded that you do not know as much as you thought you did three years ago. If you have not been here long enough to re- alize that to become happy men and successful engineers re reading, thinking, and first-hand quires continual study, 4 knowledge of the details of your profession, then there is nothing I can say to convince you.
