QW, 2, if-f V1 Q, JW, I. 22 242 fi ul School days, school days, dear old golden rule days.. . So go the words of the famous old song, and so goes the theme of THE POLYTECHNIC 1959. With- out any fancy frills or gimmicks this yearbook attempts to show Polytechnic High School as it was during the 1958-1959 school year: a school filled with a variety of activities and learning situations designed to give its students the best education possible. School days are filled with work, study, and fun, and this book attempts to re-capture these events through the written word and the photograph. It is a simple, straight-forward presentation of the events which will be most remem- bered by the students including school activities, athletics, clubs, class pro- jects, and graduation. This, then, is a record of what has transpired at Polytechnic High School during the year, a record of the school days of some 1,800 Polyites who make the mass of brick and steel a warm, living thing.
