' f took a year's leave of absence last X Q . summer, hls position was occupied by Nlr. Ivor Callaway, dean of boys. mi! During his year as acting prlncl- pal, Mr. Callaway gained a whole host of new friends. During this year he displayed unlimited energy in carrying out the duties and ob- ligatlons of his offlce. He worked with the students and faculty on innumerable projects for the bet- terment of the school. He welcomed visitors, organized the monthly calendars, supervised at dances, handled financial matters, presid- ed at meetings, and concentrated on building school splrit. During the past year Polytechnic set many records scholastlcally and athletlcally. Mr. Callaway gave his full support to both projects. Students have growntolooktoward lvlr.
