Parrot know that there is nothing fast about Assistant Editor f putting a yearbook together. What to leave out? What to include? How to best make use of the limited space? All these questions have been uppermost in the minds of the staff. No book can be perfect, everyone can't be pleased but, if the maiority find pleasure in our efforts, we are satisfied. Each member of the staff contributed much in running er- rands, identifying pictures, collecting money, supervising the scheduling of pictures, selling of ads and the dozens of related items which make a yearbook complete. We sincerely hope you like our efforts! We had YOU in mind every step of the way. . . here is your Journal for l955. . .Happy reading and pleasant memories in the years that lie ahead. Mrs. Anderegg palyo Qaeda! office Poly revolves around its office staff. The bells are controlled here, absences are excused, tardinesses are checked--many of the hundreds of minute daily excuses are handled here. Mrs. Anderegg serves as secretary to Mr. Peterson and runs hundreds the main office. Yearly she helps to train of young men and women in office practice. Mrs. McConnon is Mrs. Anderegg's capable assistant. She sees that the Polyite comes from the press three times a week, handles the voluminous correspondence over grade transcripts and skillfully handles many other daily tasks. Mrs. Molien gnc Mrs.Miller serves as attendance clerk which is no easy task for such a large school as Poly. Mrs. Molien, as girl's dean's secret- ary, gets more than her share of sad stories. She has to be a diplomat, a constant receiver of problems, large and small. Mr. Santos handles all the school funds--his receipt books and sharp accounting pencils are as well known to all of us as a tax .coIIector. Mrs. Waters is boy's dean's secretary.
