V We, the Polytechnic Journal stallc of 1951 and 1952, would like to dedicate this yearbook to the many boys of this class who have left Poly inO defense of their country. ,2 d? 3 We remember them in our freshman year, with their young faces and boyish tricks; our sophomore .p year when they first began to notice the girls; our junior year when the fellows used razors for the first time; and then they were gone. Somewhere at some time during the past year they left us; not because they had to, and not because they wanted to, but they believed in their country and in the principles on which it was founded.
