CLASS OF 1950 OFFICERS I JIM O'NEIL Prejidem BEV THOMAS Vice-Prexidem FARE THEE WELL Twelve years of school, and now what? We, the graduating seniors of Fall 50, have many memories of our four years at Poly. Polytechnic is one of the oldest and most famous of San Francisco schools. It has pro- duced many great athletes and scholars of todayls world. It therefore, has a high reputation that present students must keep up and carry on. We hope we have contributed something to Polyls reputation and history. For many students school will not be over when they leave Poly. These are the students who are going on to college. For many more, the routine of school will be over. These are the students who will seek positions in the business world. PAGE TWENTY-FOUR JOAN BENDER Treajurer DIANE WOOLF Secretary Within two weeks, we will all be a part of the vast and changing world of today. As we march down the stairs on graduation night, after singing, probably for the last time as students, llHail Polytechnic, we wont be adolescents anymore, but young adults. We, the Fall class of 1950, leave this message to Poly: Farewell to our friends, teachers, and classmates. May the four years that future Polyites spend here be as well worth remembering as ours will be in the future. BEVERLY THOMAS H-12 Vice Prexidem

POLY 120,8 Poly 1203 completed the season with four wins and five losses. The team work was outstanding, even though they lost several games. The first string con- sisted of Walter Lee and Bob Comer at the forward po- sitions; Bob Stevens, at center; and Harris and Barros, at the guard spots; with the scoring burden being car- ried by Bob Stevens and Walter Lee. The closest game of the season was against Sacred Heart. Bob Stevens took high point honors with nine digits. The casabers led most of this game and won by the close margin of 24 to 23. Poly had a successful lightweight team and next sea- son most of these boys will be 1503. They are eager and willing and under the able hand of Coach Gordon Carlson they should go far. POLY 110,8 The Poly 110Ts won five of their nine league games. The top scorers were Gary Gillmor, Lyn English, and Joe Cathey. During the league play the Poly 110,5 were the only team to beat the Mission Bears, who topped the league. The team went through the suc- cessful season with these boys seeing most of the action: Gillmor and Cathey, at forwards; English, at center; and at the guard positions, Rosenthol and Camera. Most of the players on the team are freshmen and will return next year. Poly,s arch rival, Lowell, downed our boys by a score of 42 to 27. 1205 BASKETBALL Bottom row: M. Harris, B. Roomian, J.
