Student Administration The othcers for the Spring term of 1946 were under the leadership of Bob Hagler, a popular athlete. Emily Steele was in charge of dances for she took the office of vice president. Loretta Verbin, assisted by Dixie Steece, had charge of finances. Warren Storkman sold tickets for athletic events. Al Bradford, custodian, kept our cups in order. Marvine Goldblatt presided over Congress. jim Hughes ruled over Student Court after the tragic death of Vernon Geyer, Student Court judge. jerry Miller was Yell Leader. The Spring term featured many activities. Hello Day was the first event of the term. Luggage Days were held on the sixteenth and seven- teenth of May. The proceeds went to the junior Red Cross. The main rally of the term was held for the Poly-Lowell basketball game. Enter- tainment by outsiders and students was excellent. Two other basketball rallies were held during the term. Three baseball rallies were given. Emily Steele presented something new to the Student Body, Flashy Clash Day. St. Patrick's Day was celebrated with a dance.
