Preparations for Homecoming filled Polys halls with decoraurg students Art enthusiasts under the direction of Mrs Hrllls Wise placed garly painted Parrots of all sizes and shapes all over the burldlng Carried in by cheerleader pallbearers, the Dead Panther was unceremoniously thrown into the pit by challenging Parrots who uowed to crush the Panthers on the field of football. Everyone got in the act of decorating. The hall outside the art room was filled with students, paint brush in hands, who wanted this Homecoming Day to be colorful. Climaxing a day of fun for exes and students alike, Queen Dana accepts the homage of her station. Senior Prexy Jimmy Scarborough has just presented her with the traditional orchid. Homecoming, I 9 Homecoming, l95O style, started early, as main hall registration did a thriving business from early morning. Prospective Parrots, I965 variety, accompanied Mom and Dad to get a look see at their future educational home. Queen Dana Dodson followed in her sister's footsteps by winning the same honor Ann Dodson held last year. Dana was nominated by the football players and elected by the student body.
