Some gave up Their 6Th and 7Th periods To go To work, while oThers concenTrdTed on evenings and weekends. Their jobs ranged from selling cloThing aT fancy deparTmenT sTores To scooping ice cream aT 34 Flavors. AIThough They someTimes found iT hard To give up The home- work Time, sporTs. and daTes, many seniors, iu- niors, and sophomores proved ThaT They could manage The exTra responsibilihes, They worked noT only Tor The money, buT for The experience.
