7 FALL SEMESTER PRESIDENT The big event of the year for Girls? League was the Southern California Conference, with Long Beach acting as host. Poly girls spent many hours of planning for this event. ,Iudy Jones and Barbara Bradley led the organization for this year. Among their undertakings were the annual Porter High Day and Backwards Dance, the New Girls' Picnic, and the Pizza Party. Proceeds from the dance went to the Girls' League Scholarship. Meetings are held every Monday after school. All girls interested in the activities of Girls' League are encouraged to attend and become members of a committee.
