As time passes, the fture is unveiled and we see the members of the class of 1948 in.1954. We look into the future and see Mary Bell Simmons, our modest, quiet classmate, now the owner of a beautiful home. Oh, yes a husband too ! ! Pollock's leading song and dance man is now the title bestowed upon Irwin Roberts. Willie Dee Howard is radiant in a bridal gown and standing beside her is--now who could that be ? ? ? Clyde Slaughter is having a hard time keeping away from the girls-as per usual! ! Don Elda Herrell is now married to Murvin and they have a beautiful home in Simms. Henry J. Walker, our class president, is now the owner of a large firm in Chicago. We see Nan Scott running down the street with pencil and paper trying to get a scoop for the New York Times. Everett Coody is now studying law preparing to be the Governor of Louisiana. Joanne Sibley is walking down the corridor in the Baptist Hospital where she is Supervisor of Nurses. Leonard Morgan is now operating a mimeograph machine in a large downtown office. Irise and Florise Ball are now married to twins, and are doing a swell job of raising triplets! ! We see C. L. Ates trying to repair his old A-Model. Clara Maddox is still living at Simms waiting for her husband, who is in the Air Corps. William Morgan is writing newspaper articles on Little Men Make Big Success . Our dear classmate, Mellie Storye, has now become a perfect wife and home-maker. johnny Carter is now a famous 'author of Control Over Temper . Keither Cogdill is now secretary of The Standard Printing Co. Harold Granger is studying speech so he can be Everett's campaign manager. Ruth jordan has now finished college and is coaching basketball at Centenary. J. R. Jameson is the owner of a large painting concern. Alas, Dixie McKay has found her true love and is happily married living on Big Creek. Hu- bert Blackwell, with great ability in commerce, is now the editor of a newspaper. Bettye Kees with her quiet and sweet ways has now become a teacher at the Tiny Tot Kinder- garten in Pineville. Odell Kirtland is still advertising for a wife. Huey Bandy, with his quiet ways, is now driving a schoolbus. Mary Lou Cheveallier is still happily married to Jack and living in Arkansas. Elmo Foster is considering taking a position with the Ford Company, teaching buyers how to drive a car perfectly. Travis Beavers is the very stern judge of Pollock.
