As freshmen our year was hard. we were call- ed Wgreenhornsn by higher members of the school. but the very fact that we were these things made us the more higher to reach the goal. As eophs. we were large in together for the good of others. . lt fell our lot confronted with determined to go number but strived Then it was that we began to feel our importance to lay down the rules to the HFreshiesH and to make those Juniors watch their step. as Juniors the class was small. we that had grit and courage left those that had lezed upon their job behind us to share themselves with the coming HSophs.H Ne Juniors continued to make the most of our opportunities. 4 As seniors we found it hard but we gained our privileges that we had lost in years before. lt would be extremly difficult to mention the occasions that were of greatest interest to us There were the class parties and fishing trips that made our Junior year sucksa Joy to us. The pie suppers which we gave to put our contestants over in the popularity contest. our Junior play, vTh? Calamity kids,u is another fond memory. Of cou'se there was our senior play which we will re- member always. The memory of the contest on the atheletic field will doubtless linger in our minds forever. not a few are the conflicts in which we fought bravely for 1. H. S. V rhe memory or each member of the faculty is near to our hearts. whatever we achieve in life will be due largely to the principles of high and honest living that were installed in our hearts by them. he have said that we will live such lives as will reflect honor upon those who were our teachers in high school. ue have reached the goal that hes been before us for a long time. aut today we do not look upon that goal in upon it. ne of life, but feel that we the same light that we once looked no longer look upon it as the summit merely a step toward that summit. we are now better uble to climb to that summit. Je believe that our task has been faith- fully done, because we are more eager to climb to- day than at any other time in our past history. . . . . ..
