'I'hey were Joyce Kuchenbecker Juhe Metcalf Anita Spotts Wilma Lewis Kay Wxlson, Gloria Savxck Denny Crossen Karl Hines Herschel Gnm Denny Smtth Jack W1ley Dar1us Muller Bill Keith Bllly Platt, Marlene Nash Tom Johnston Glorxa Klndlg, J xmmy Tanner and Joan DuBois Through the years we lost some and gained others so that by the time we went into Jun1or Hlgh this was our class of twenty three members Joyce Kuchenbecker Jul1e Metcalf Anlta Spotts, Wilma Lewls Hershel Grim Darius Miller Denny Smlth Jack Wiley Janet Savlck John Weaver James Weltmer Lewis Longcoy Carol White Bill Keith, Barbara Shrlver Zygmet Kosmoski Stanley Stanley Lukeyt Eugene Jordan and Don Morr Several left in the next two years so that our Freshman class had sixteen members They were Joyce Kuchenbecker J uhe Metcalf Anita Spotrs Wilma Lew1s Kay Wllson Gloria Savick Janet Savick Denny Crossen Herschel Gr1rn Karl Hmes Denny Smith Durmg our Sophomore year we added John Clark, Stanley Newrneyer and James Weltmer This year we put on our class play Sevaxteen IS Awfully Young Dlrected by Mrs Prouse. We worked hard on our Prom Dancmg l.I'l the Dark but we really enjoyed the evening. We chose Denny Crossen V1ce President Herschel Grun Presi dent Julie Metcalf Secretary and G1or1aSav1ck Treasurer Semor year we started with tlnrteen members Denny Crossen Larry Egler Herschel Gnm Karl Hines Joyce Kuchenbecker Wilma Lewis Julie Metcalf, Gloria Savick, Denny Sm1th Hazel Spickelmier Anita Sports and Kay Wilson. During the year we were sorry to lose Hazel, but in her place we recetved Richard Wyland. Our offlcers were as follows Denny Crossen President Herschel Grim Vice President Juhe Metcalf Secretary and Gloria Savick Treasurer 'Off the Track ' was the name of our Senior Class Play It was lots of fun and a big success We ended up the year with our Senior Prom and Banquet Hawaiian Holiday Graduation on May 28 and our class trip to New York City the f1rst week in June with Mr and Mrs John Crumrine and thelr two chlldren. We have a lot to remember about our twelve years at Polk Local School.
