CLASS PIHIPIIECY l had recelved word that workmen on the planet earth had Just uncovered a building in the ancrent v1llage of Polk I boarded the f1rst avarlable rocket there and landed at New York I traveled to Polk by way of an antique vehicle called a Ford When I arrived I learned that the bu1ld1ng had been called a school. The anc1ent c1v111zat1ons used th1s bu11dmg to hold classes to teach their offspring the knowledge of the day At the site of the excavation I entered through the main door picked my way through the debris on the steps and discovered the office There I found evrdence of a great mov1e star DONNA WELTMER The records told of her start in the Semor Class Play She then declded to conttnue her career and became the star in the film series The Adventures of Dusty Donna Further research drsclosed that EDDIE HAUN ongtnated and cnrected this f1lm series His w1fe CORA FRYMAN owned the company Wh1Ch fllmed 1I Eddle started out playmg basketball for the Globe Trotters but upon his marriage to Cora he had to g1ve ll up Cora it seems wanted her husband at home and at work with her She had qu1te a b1t of money and so bought the movmg plcture company and bribed him by offerlng h1m the Job of dlrector Wandering arotmd the buildlng I chanced upon the music flles Here I d1SC0Vel'9d HCWSDBPSI' and CAROLYN KUCHENBECKER who accompamed her on the piano They had done qu1te well for themselves Thetr motto was Sooner or later almost everyone turns to the h1lls Of course we were bound to find some record of PATSY OXENDER Even people on Mars have tasted her famous P1cad1l1y Pickles We found that she had a part m the Semor Class Play but decided that there was no future in II so she turned to plckle p1ck.1ng and processing As the workmen dug further they dlscovered a newer addition to the school. The sign over the entrance was Kramer s Krappy Kornor Beauty School Tlus I discovered had been owned and operated by DAVID KRAMER One of his classmates RALPH HOWELL was teaching the art of marucurmg As they excavated the school yard they d1scovered a railroad track Decidmg to follow it I hlred six strong workmen to d1g it out About half a m11e down the track we found the remains of an express tra1n wh1ch bore the Flcklebottom Express Much to my surprise I discovered that the conductor was one of my ancestors BOB ROSEBOROUGH He had married CAROLYN ARNOLD who worked as an entertatner m the club car At home Bob was chief cook and bottle washer while Carolyn took care of their four duldren Dtggmg stlll further we discovered a beautiful farm house with a large stable This upon entermg I dlscovered belonged at one ume to JERRY SIGRIST He had become a famous jockey and had many troplues to prove it Upon ret1r1ng, he bought this farm and opened a rest home for members of his Semor Class to whom he taugmt horseback nding. clippings about a great hillbilly band. It was headed by ANN HOOTMAN, who played the fiddle,
