As we look 1nto the future we see the faces of the Class of 55 Some are happy, others are sad but none of them can ever forget the happy days they put 1n at P H S Less easily forgotten are the1r recent appearances in the world of fame fortune, and failure The1r efforts to make this a better world will never be forgotten As we look at this great land of ours we find P H S Alurnn1 in all corners What are they do1ng'P BILL REED was always determined to promote law and order After graduation, B111 Jomed the P01106 foroe He found he didn t get along well w1th Joe F r1day so he IS now try1ng to invent a gadget to stop speedmg cars Wh1le we were v1s1t1ng Bill who should he stop but MAR LENE SPOTTS He couldn t charge Marlene for speeding because she was only going 20 miles an hour He placed her m Ja1l for reckless driving but she soon got out because she called her boss CHUCK TURK You see Chuck IS CluefExecut1ve of Repubhc SIUd1OS where Marlene IS starring 1n a Dare Devil Movie Chuck recelved his DOSIUOII when a talent scout recogruzed his ab1ht1es He was on a tractor west of Polk wearing a beaut1ful wh1te sh1rt and pmk t1e As we travel farther west we stopped at Walter Reed HOSPIIR1 JOAN HERR IS now holding the position of Head Nurse She was successful from the very start of her career which started at Safnar1tan Hospital She developed a 3 D aIOITl1C typewriter so Samar1tan Hospital lost her to Walter Reed Hospltal ln the great state of Nevada we found .T IM CAMPBELL J 1m was dr1v1ng a 1975 Rocket auto mob11e He must have done pretty well selhng the automatic diaper changer that he developed He IS now workmg at the atom1c exper1menta1 grounds We could not tour the Ufllted States w1thoutv1s1t1ng Texas Here we found ETHEL CROSSEN Ethel IS employed as a gu1de on the El Polko Rancho She had gone west on a vacation when she discovered she had a talent for breakmg broncos She almost ended Rodeos because broncs Wh1Ch she trained stopped buckmg Polk also produced a letter 1ntheacadern1cf1eld At UCLA we learned tl1at RONALD CROS SEN IS college president Ron got tus job wh1le headmg a college survey on Carters Little Liver P11ls Also 111 the teaclnng f1eld is DORIS SIGRIST Doris 1s teaching at Wiggletown U S A She enjoys lettmg out school on election day so her first graders can vote She 1S now offermg Saxophone lessons to anyone who can learn the alphabet to G Boys Town bemg the h1gh11ght of Nebraska was also of interest to us Here we found JOAN MCFADDEN Joan had sung to the boys 1n the army wh11e traveling with the George Gobel Show She liked it so much she signed up to serenade the boys at Boys Town At last we went to Florida, the dream place of every Polker SHIRLEY MACK is residing there Her husband owns the famous Alligator Farm and Shirley does an exhibition wrestling match every afternoon Of course with the alligators. As we prooeeded up the continent we stopped for a short visit inKentucky Here we saw BETTY LEWIS at her still where she produces the World famous Polk-A-Dot Brand Of course she insisted to our taking a free sample My but that was e - .
